Harvest Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) is strictly a volunteer organization with approximately 40 or more members working together to save lives and property in the Harvest area and the surrounding Madison County communities.  HVFD operates largely from generous donations from Harvest residents as well as grants, etc.  Harvest currently has an ISO rating of 5.  HVFD operates from three fire stations spread evenly throughout the Harvest area.  We currently have 4 engines in service, 1 rescue truck and 2 brush trucks.  We respond to 900+ calls per year including EMS response, vehicle wrecks, and fires.
