The Madison County Fire Explorer Post was established in January 2009. We are chartered through the Boy Scouts of America, and sponsored by the Harvest Volunteer Fire Department.
The purpose of a fire explorer post is to help teach young adults ages 14-21 about the profession of firefighting, along with leadership, teamwork, and other vital skills.
Requirements to join:
- Must be between 14-21 years of age
- Must have completed the 8th grade
- Must be enrolled in school
